My experience at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

I am and always will be such a huge Harry Potter fan. I started reading the series when I was around 12, and fell in love. The series will always be one of my top ten favourites in life, and it just made me soooooo happy when my parents told me and my siblings we were going to the actual place.

I would like to say, I am not saying this to brag or make anyone feel jealous of me, this is just for the people who are trying to convince their parents/friends to splash the cash and go. I am so fortunate I got this experience because I live in rainy Scotland, and so flights alone are crazy expensive, nevermind the accommodation and park tickets.

The buildings in this park. Wow. I think whoever was in charge of designing and building this place deserves a medal. I loved the snowy touch on the roofs, that just added to the prettyness. Also, I would like to point out, there was just always music playing. I had no idea where it was coming from, but it was always there and it just made the atmosphere so much happier. I guess you could say it was... Magical. You might need to double check this in the picture because not everyone notices these things, but look at those chimneys. They were so tall, and notice the one on the far right, it's wonky. I just fell in love with those little touches. Also the building in the actual picture with the pink signs is the sweet store Honeydukes. And the building on the far right with the wonky chimney is The Three Broomsticks (We also got lunch there. They sold butterbeer! Who knew wizards ate chicken nuggets?) and I just loved every bit of it.

The picture to the right is of me and my sister in front of the actual Hogwarts! This was definitely my favourite part. The building was so precise, and beautiful. There was also a ride in Hogwarts which was just amazing. It was a motion-ride where it's like you experience Hogwarts. I'm not going to say too much in case I spoil it for anyone, but it is just incredible. And the line was absolutely massive, but it was the most fun line I've ever been in. You walk through the corridors, some of the portraits talk, you see the Golden Trio and Ron makes it snow! You also walk through Dumbledore's office and a green house, which was great to see the detail gone into some of the plants. My mind was literally just blown away by the efforts gone into this park.

The shops were my favourite part to be honest. I've always wanted to buy the things you see in Harry Potter and now you can! Obviously you can get things online, but this is special. You can go into Ollivanders and a random person is chosen to have their wand choose them. I felt sorry for whoever got chosen, because in a way they were kind of forced to buy it.

Obviously, the park being part of Universal everything was absolutely over priced. Wands were around $30! I only got a few sweets and a tshirt, but I'm so happy with my tshirt.

Again, I'm not doing this any way to brag or show off, that's really not my thing. I am so grateful I got to go on that adventure, and will certainly remember it for a long time.

Thanks again for reading!
