LUSH Review: Love Lettuce Face Mask

Love Lettuce Face Mask! Enjoy!

So, this is the first mask I have ever encountered by Lush, and I must say, I am quite pleased with it.

The price of this mask is £5.95 and at first I was a bit baffled by this, because I thought it was kind of expensive, but then again, I am a wimp when it comes to spending a lot of money. Another reason I thought it was a lot is because of the size of the tub. The tub is (In my opinion) quite small and it's not very wide, which gave me the impression I would only get one use out of it, but even then, I grabbed one and made my way to the till with my many other Lush products in my basket!

I used my mask after a relaxing bath using various other Lush products (One of which I will be reviewing) and so I felt very smooth and clean when applying this mask. I guess you can say I was having a bit of a pamper night.

The instructions on the tub loosely say: "Use a generous amount and rub the mask all over your face." (Not the exact words, but you get my drift.) Now, the word generous stuck out to me. Whenever I see the word generous being applied in the context of using products, I immediately thought: "Uh oh, this tub will be empty tonight!" But, I was wrong.

I stuck my fingers into the tub, and then smoothed it all over my face. This mask isn't the smoothest thing to feel, as I'm sure there are other masks that are completely smooth, but it had a few lumps but I figured that was ingredients that were good for your face! And yes, this is me -.- --------------------->
I started with a thin layer on my face, and realised I had barely used any, so I put on a second layer and the tub wasn't even close to being half way empty! My face feels so incredibly soft and smooth (Especially my cheeks) and I could not be more happy!

I will admit, at first I was nervous because I do have a couple of break outs on my face, and I wasn't sure how it was going to work with that, and they haven't gotten worse at all! In fact, they've gotten slightly better! And, it smells great. I came down stairs and my mum just went: "Are you using Lush? It smells great!" So it's got the thumbs up from me and my mother!
